The Newly built Agra-Lucknow Expressway is not only India’s longest expressway but is also part of India’s longest expressway network that starts from NOIDA and ends at Lucknow, with a proposal to be extended upto UP-Bihar border or even further to Patna. This expressway network will also be connecting Bundelkhand expressway and it will also intersect Ganga Expressway, which are all under-construction. With the completion of this massive expressway infrastructure the access point at Lucknow becomes of utmost importance as not only it’s central to this expressway network but also a political and geographic center of Uttar Pradesh. In near future this will be a new entrance to the city of Lucknow and so a Multi-modal transit hub along with way-side amenities becomes an important proposal to support this massive infrastructure with the essence of Lucknow’s rich culture.

Amritlal Nagar Ji was a poet whose work is known to be the epitome of Hindi Literature. He lived in the city of Lucknow but over time the city and it’s people have forgotten this genius who loved Lucknow more than anything. We thought that this is the right opportunity to make people aware of Amrit Ji and his works. Amrit Ji was born in Agra and lived in Lucknow, hence a mobility hub along with an interpretation centre dedicated to him at the Agra-Lucknow Expressway was designed but only as an academic project as there is no real government project proposed here. If the Government of Uttar Pradesh finds this project suitable to be constructed we’ll be more than happy to share our drawings with them.
