Another example of Modern Hindu Architecture, the Ganga Expressway Toll Gate is inspired by the iconography of Lord Shiva. As the legend says that Ganga river was brought to Earth from heaven and to save the planet from its impact Lord Shiva offered to let Ganga pass through his hair, the toll gates celebrates this piece of Indian Itihasa in a modern way.
